Actual Announces Actual ODBC Pack 3.0 for FileMaker 11

Actual Technologies today released the Actual ODBC Pack version 3.0. The drivers now fully support 64-bit applications, such as Apache / PHP on Snow Leopard. The new driver versions also support the latest External SQL Source (ESS) features of FileMaker 11. FileMaker 11 includes support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Oracle 11g and MySQL 5.1. Actual ODBC Supports Latest FileMaker Pro 10 External SQL Sources

The drivers are tailored for use with the new External SQL Source (ESS) feature of FileMaker Pro 9. With Actual ODBC, FileMaker Pro 9 users can view and update live data in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL databases without writing SQL code. Actual releases ODBC Pack 2.0 drivers

Actual Technologies has released the Actual ODBC Pack 2.0, a suite of ODBC drivers designed to connect to popular databases. The new drivers are distributed as Universal Binaries for compatibility with both PowerPC Macs as well as Intel-based Macs, and are designed specifically for Mac OS X.

Each member of the ODBC pack connects Excel X to a database back-end, without the need for programming knowledge while allowing users to import from FileMaker Pro. Supported databases include SQL Server/Sybase, Oracle, MySQL/PostgreSQL and Microsoft Access.

Each database driver is available for $30, and requires Mac OS X 10.2.4 or later.
